This webinar will address the specific interests and concerns about AI in education, as identified through community surveys. The campaign will aim to engage educators, students, and community members across all 15 counties of Arizona and 22 tribal nations, supported by a targeted marketing initiative to ensure effective outreach and participation
Goal: Develop recommendations for policymakers to consider when formulating policies that influence AI in Education in rural, remote, tribal regions and communities experiencing high poverty in Arizona.. These recommendations will focus on addressing challenges identified through community feedback to ensure fair access to underserved areas.
Action Item: By December 2025, draft, approve, and disseminate a set of recommendations for policy makers to consider based on insights from community surveys and general session meetings. These recommendations are regarding AI in education, and are distributed to policy makers from the areas we serve.
Goal: Strengthen community engagement by establishing and enhancing partnerships with key stakeholders like local schools, community organizations, and parent-teacher organizations. This effort aims to support community needs more effectively and deepen meaningful engagement.
Action Item: By August 2025, develop and strengthen at least 13 new partnerships within the 13 sector framework, focusing on organizations that serve and represent the communities we work with.
